"Surely you have seen the large storage space and garage of the chic e-line I 51 QB at an Exhibition or at a dealership. We have always admired the large storage space and were now quite excited to see what all fits in our motorhome. We have all the things we need for a trip on board all year round and don't clear out the motorhome because of the season. The chic e-line must be ready for all eventualities and so we really have everything in the double floor: different blankets, mountain boots, beach towels, clothing (when the kids were small, we also had beach games and sandals with us). From the outside you can already see the numerous exterior flaps and you know exactly that you will have no shortage of space in this vehicle. We definitely found the right place for all the luggage. What has to be said at the beginning: The outside flaps are really very practical, they can be opened completely so that you don't bump your head while loading. In addition, you can maneuver the luggage with both hands to stow even bulky items.
In the full-length raised floor, we have added additional boxes so that you can easily slide them in and out. Here we have stored things that we do not need that often. In the storage compartment next to the body door, for example, we have stored things that we need often or even daily. The compartment to the left of this door we use for special equipment. On the other side, we have stowed the toolbox, a water hose and various connections.
We are really excited about the large rear garage. It offers so much space and is well thought out. Here we store various supplies, jackets, a spare wheel, chairs, tables and much more and even our scooter fits in the garage, which is firmly anchored to the loading area. With a load capacity of 350 kg, the rear garage is perfect for us.
The interior bilge hatch by the superstructure door provides an enormously deep storage space and this is also where the levers for the water drainage centre are located. We call this area "cellar" because we store food supplies here and the compartment goes so deep down that even the drink bottles can be placed upright. It's convenient that we don't have to get out of the motorhome to do this, we have access to all the storage areas in the motorhome. So if it rains, we can sit comfortably in the vehicle and still have everything at hand.
Today we showed you something about the storage space of our chic e-line. As you can see, we don't exactly travel light, but our HERR GRAU makes it possible. As already mentioned: When travelling we like to be prepared for all eventualities, because HERR GRAU is our home and at home we have everything with us!"
