Expansion location With around 2,000 m² of floor space, Carthago is expanding its location in Aulendorf with another administration building. The employees can look forward to 80 new modern workplaces plus the possibility of expanding by another 40 workplaces. The departments have also been arranged in a process-oriented way so that project-related teams can work even better on common topics. In the new staff restaurant, employees can fortify themselves with healthy and fresh meals.

Carthago surprises with the new "space wonder" c-tourer I "epic" 144 LE: with a movable wall to the shower room, the Carthago achieves fully-fledged single beds, a generous luxury bathroom as well as a generous L-shaped seating group in an integrated motorhome in a length of almost seven metres. The solution is being registered for patent approval. At the same time, the motorhome is a forerunner for a new furniture generation. chic c-line I and c-tourer T have been elected to motorhome of the year, three more podium places came on top of that – the premium brand Carthago achieved a dream result. Carthago wins the "European Innovation Award" for their innovative lightning protection concept. In the mean time, Carthago employs more than 900 staff at their two locations.

Carthago presents the new generation of chic e-line and chic s-plus. Carthago presents the new generation of chic e-line and chic s-plus. They are given the distinctive v-face design, a sporty masculine formed rear, and other novelties. The c-tourer I is distinguished by a new face. Top of the range model from Europe´s number one premium brand for integrated motorhomes is the upgraded Carthago highliner once again. With five podium places, Carthago is the most successful premium brand at the election to motorhome of the year. The Carthago highliner is the overall winner by the "Customer is king practical test". With the semi-integrated and integrated motorhome, the subsidiary brand Malibu has become a full-range provider. At the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, Malibu received the award "Goldenes Reisemobil" (Golden Motorhome) from the trade journal Auto Bild Reisemobil.

The integrated units of the chic series celebrate their tenth anniversary This year, the chic model series integrated is celebrating its tenth anniversary- For this occasion, the all-rounder chic c-line Generation II will be presented in the V-face design with distinctive front mask. The c-tourer sport presented at the Caravan Salon for the first time had also for a sensation. It combines upper class technology and equipment with a surprisingly attractive entry price and thus redefines the step into the premium class under the integrated motorhomes.For the first time, the subsidiary brand malibu presented itself at the Caravan Salon with its own stand and presented additional floor plan versions of the comfortable box-type van.

Carthago starts the new year in style
The new c-tourer I super-lightweight sets standards for light premium-integrated vehicles. Carthago have improved the vehicle's weight and reduced it by more than 100 kg. Carthago celebrate their 33rd birthday with two exclusively equipped special editions. Carthago is the first motor home maker to receive a TÜV certificate for wood-free motor home cabins. "Without wood or timber products," certified by TÜV South. The experts of the certifying authority have very carefully inspected the production in all factories and the cabins of all our motor home models.
The company's move to the new site in Aulendorf is perfectly on schedule. The exhibition hall, the Service Center and production had already moved in December 2012. Administration and management follow early February 2013. - 2012

2012 All models from c-tourer over chic c-line, chic e-line/s-plus, highliner to the liner deluxe have been technically and visually improved. The chic e-line editions Yachting and Linerclass are a new, exciting range of motor homes with even greater autonomy and storage space that clearly show their roots in the liner series.
Construction works on the Aulendorf site begin after a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony in November 2011. This is where the new, 100.000 square meter Carthago-City, enthusiastically anticipated in the region, grows in order to replace the current sites in Ravensburg and Schmalegg starting 2013.

2011 The success story continues. At the beginning of 2011, Carthago is able to announce yet another milestone. The 1,500th Chic c-line leaves the factory. The vehicle is delivered to the happy owner on January 31. Since it was launched, the Chic c-line has been an extremely successful model on the European motor home market as demand has constantly increased. In order to meet this increased demand, another production line is commissioned in the factory in Odranci/Slovenia in May 2011. Carthago is therefore manufacturing motor homes at four different production sites this year.

The chic c-line T-Plus redefines the class of semi-integrated motorhomes with a lift bed. The chic c-line model range is being further upgraded. New features include the storage space concept, the kitchen, the combined bathroom and numerous further developments in the interior, exterior and options.

Carthago is one of the most successful manufacturers of motor homes in the upper middle and upper class. The Caravan Salon 2009 witnesses the highest sales in the 30-year history of the company. The success story continues with the product range making a big impression on the European market. At the same time, the chic family is extended with a new layout, the chic e-line gets an innovative facelift with lots of technical improvements and the chic high-line makes its debut with its own special range of layouts. For the first time, the new Liner is available on an MAN bus chassis. At the beginning of 2009, the chic c-line is introduced as a part integrated vehicle at the CMT. At the top of the range, the chic high-line flag ship is added to the chic family, featurings outstanding quality technology borrowed from the premium class. The new Liner on the Iveco Daily 65C is introduced at the same time. Carthago shows what is possible in the top range of motor homes. Another milestone in the Carthago success story.

More than ever, Carthago combines highest quality features with consistent lightweight construction At the same time, Carthago refines the body with a hail-resistant GRP exterior of the roof and a rot-proof GRP underside of the floor. Double floor and walls made of a full aluminium sandwich are a matter of course. Carthago chic e-line and chic s-plus extend the model family. With the chic A, for the first time a Carthago model is voted motorhome of the year in the promobil readers' poll. Carthago grows, the number of employees rises to more than 300. Symbol of the growth is a new, second factory on an area of more than 50,000 m² in Odranci/Slovenia.

2007 260 employees produce more than 1,000 vehicles in the two plants in Schmalegg and Ravensburg. The dealer network is developed further so that outstanding service can be provided locally as well.
Right at the start of the motor home season, Carthago introduces the new DESIGNA interior design line at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon. Soon after its introduction, the new Yacht design becomes a model for a new style trend in the motor home sector. - 2006

2006 Carthago begins an impressive campaign of new models. Two completely newly developed vehicles, the new Opus and the M-Liner. Also, the Chic and Mondial models undergo a fundamental reworking and are reintroduced at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf.
The Chic model range is from now on available on three new chassis: the Fiat Ducato Alko, the Mercedes Benz Sprinter with the Alko low frame chassis and the rear wheel driven Iveco Daily. - 2005

2005 Due to the overwhelming success of the Chic models at the 2004 Caravan Salon and to satisfy the large volume of customer demand, Karl Heinz Schuler, the Managing Director and owner of Carthago, decides to increase production capacities. Within a few months, a new 5000 square meter Chic production plant is built on the Deisenfang industrial estate in Ravensburg. In July, the first vehicles leave production.

2004 Carthago employs 110 people . An integrated model completes the Chic range, the Opus line is completely recreated. The new Mega-Liner is introduced at the Caravan Salon. From June 18 to 20, Karl-Heinz Schuler celebrates, together with customers, partners and friends, 25 years of the Carthago brand at the Schmalegg plant in Ravensburg.
