AULENDORFER CASTLE
The castle with its Gothic stepped gables is visible from afar and stands in the centre of the town of Aulendorf. The building, which has grown over the centuries, unites five stylistic epochs and, with its classicist rooms, offers the ideal setting for exhibitions of a wide variety of works of art. The castle also offers a media castle tour, where the history of the castle can be experienced anew with the help of smartphones or rental tablets.

VOGEL HERRENMÜHLE
At the foot of Aulendorf Castle, the Vogel family has a long family tradition of running the last small grinding mill in the district of Ravensburg. The Herrenmühle has been in continuous operation for over four centuries. In the mill shop, the Vogel family sells various types of flour, baked goods and much more. The Aulendorf Reibolf beer from the small castle brewery is also sold there.

PARISH CHURCH ST. MARTIN
A Romanesque church dedicated to St Martin stood on this site more than 1,000 years ago. Since then, almost every generation has contributed to expanding or decorating this place of worship. Precious works from various epochs from the late Gothic period to the present day have been preserved in a colourful sequence. Over the centuries, the barony of the Counts of Königsegg provided rich and sometimes valuable equipment. The church and castle are built directly together; spiritual and secular power merged into a single unit here. After the castle complex had been renovated over 10 years and given a new lease of life in 1997, the church was also renovated in 1999. The carefully restored ceilings with their mortar stucco from the early Rococo period are striking.

CITY HISTORY
The Citizens' Museum in the old cinema presents an entertaining tour through the city's history. The successfully remodelled building alone is worth a visit: Aulendorf's first cinema was once located here. Over a period of 10 years, the TRADITIO e. V. history association renovated the building with a great deal of initiative and set up the civic museum for citizens and guests. And the result is something to be proud of! Attractive installations and media stations take visitors on a varied walk through the most recent two centuries of the city's history.

SCHWABEN-THERME

SCHLOSSBRAUEREI AULENDORF
Beer has been brewed in Aulendorf since 1692. After a 40-year interruption to the 300-year brewing tradition, beer such as "Reibolf" has been brewed in the castle's former stables again since 2008.
