ANOTHER TOP PLACE FOR CYCLIST TADEJ POGAČAR
RUNNER-UP AND TWO STAGE VICTORIES AT THE TOUR DE FRANCE - ACCOMPAINED BY A CARTHAGO C-COMPACTLINE
With his runner-up place at the world’s most famous bike race, Slovenian racing cyclist and Carthago Partner Tadej Pogačar has once again proven his outstanding class – despite a serious fall in the spring.
Climbing steps instead of cycling kilometres – his preparations for the Tour de France were severely disrupted after a fall during a race at the end of April, which resulted in a broken left wrist. Which makes the performance of cycling ace Tadej Pogačar at the Tour de France even more amazing: He was runner-up like he was in the previous year. He also won two stages, and completed the Tour de France on the 23rd July as the best young professional for the fourth time in a row. Pogačar’s record at the legendary French race is incredibly impressive, with two wins and two second places in four years.
Carthago is once again supporting the world class athlete with a c-compactline this year.
Among other things, the cycling star’s close and long-term connection with Carthago and its employees was evident last year: To mark the occasion of a motorhome handover, Tadej Pogačar cycled from the Carthago factory in Odranci to the recently inaugurated second Slovenian location in Ormož with more than 200 Carthago employees.
Tadej Pogačar’s motorhome is a real unique item thanks to its striking livery: It shows the cyclist in a winner’s pose and an oversize autograph. The professional cyclist and the motorhome complement each other perfectly. Both are slim and top fit. With its habitation width of just 2.12 metres, the A-Class Carthago c-compactline has a wiry construction, and is lightweight and energy-saving thanks to its Super Lightweight design. Thanks to the AL-KO low frame chassis, fully-fledged double floor and high-stability habitation with the Liner class technology, the c-compactline can also cope with long and difficult stages – just like world class athlete Tadej Pogačar during the Tour de France and his countless other successfully completed races.
