DRIVING ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS FOR MODELS ON MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER
Find out more about the driving assistance systems in our Mercedes-Benz-based models! Particularly on long journeys in heavy traffic, they help to identify critical situations quickly and at an early stage and to react appropriately. For more safety on your holiday!
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC (optional)
The active distance assistant relieves you by automatically checking and regulating the distance to the vehicle in front - not only in city traffic but also on motorways. With the aid of the installed sensors, the current traffic situation is also assessed in order to prevent collisions due to too short a safety distance, abrupt stops or brief inattention.
Active Brake Assist (series)
Active Brake Assist warns of a risk of collision with vehicles in front and crossing pedestrians. If the system detects a hazardous situation, it first triggers an audible and visual warning for the driver. If the driver recognises the danger and reacts by braking, Brake Assist provides support by building up additional brake pressure. If the driver does not apply the brakes, the system automatically initiates emergency braking. At low speeds, this can be sufficient to prevent an accident.
Active attention assistant (series)
Particularly on long journeys, there is a risk of overtiredness or microsleep. Active Attention Assist prevents this by analysing your driving behaviour and creating an individual driver profile on this basis. In this way, the attention assistant can recognise overtiredness or inattentiveness from your driving behaviour and, if necessary, recommend a break via the display. The early warning contributes to improved driving safety.
Tyre pressure monitoring system (optional)
Correctly inflated tyres not only last longer, but above all serve your driving safety. The tyre pressure monitoring system measures the air pressure and air temperature using a sensor inside the tyre. If the air pressure is too low, the driver is warned via a message on the display. This helps to prevent accidents and reduce both fuel consumption and tyre wear.
MODERN & INTUITIVE: MERCEDES-BENZ
The Carthago series on Mercedes-Benz not only focus on elegant design, but also on the latest technology. The motorhomes are equipped with an infotainment system MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), navigation and DAB+ included, which integrates perfectly into the cockpit. What the MBUX can do, we have summarized for you
First things first - the system leaves nothing to be desired on a large 10.2-inch touchscreen. With the ‘Mercedes’ voice control system, you can ask questions or carry out voice commands while driving. This allows you to tune into your favourite radio station or call up traffic jam information without taking your eyes off the road.
