in a nutshell
Low weight and first-class comfort seem to be contradictory when it comes to motorhomes. At least until now. The new C2-tourer impressively demonstrates how comfort and lightweight construction can be implemented in a smart way. The new model range consists entirely of integrated motorhomes on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with AL-KO low frame. Great handling is guaranteed by the narrow body width of just 2.17 metres. The new C2-tourer also shows just how smart it is on the scales.
Combined with the other weight-saving measures that have been taken, the narrow body enables integrated motorhomes on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis measuring over seven metres in length to be offered as lightweight 3.5 t models with a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tonnes. The C2-tourer is being launched with no less than eight popular layouts. Customers have a choice between lightweight 3.5 t or comfort 4.2 t models. All of them feature a luxury bathroom – indicated by the abbreviation “RB” in the model name – a corner kitchen with a refrigerator located on the opposite driver’s side (LHD), as well as a comfortable L-shaped lounge seating area. Needless to say, they wouldn’t be complete without the dressing room that is typical of the brand. Quite simply, it’s a unique SMART LINER.

exterior
What an appearance! We’ll show you why the exterior of the new C2-tourer is always a treat for the eyes. One striking feature of the new C2-tourer on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis is the brand-new front end. The hexagonal radiator grille with five striking crossbars really stands out. It’s impossible to miss the new “C” branding in the centre. What’s more, the C2-tourer has full LED headlights to ensure excellent visibility. The large windscreen also provides the best views, whether of the surrounding scenery or traffic lights while driving. The brand-new exterior graphics and the elegant Dynamic Design rear end with striking rear lights featuring the typical “C” branding are truly eye-catching.

The new Carthago C2-tourer I is being launched with no less than eight popular layouts. All of them feature a luxury bathroom, a corner kitchen with a refrigerator located on the opposite driver’s side (LHD), as well as a comfortable L-shaped lounge seating area with an additional side seat. Needless to say, they wouldn’t be complete without the dressing room that is typical of the brand.
The C2-tourer I 145 RB-LE is comparatively compact with a length of 7.20 metres and lengthways single beds. The larger C2-tourer I 147 RB-LE K and C2-tourer I 147 RB-LE L models as well as the C2-tourer I 148 RB-QB K and C2-tourer I 148 RB-QB L models have different beds – the abbreviation LE stands for lengthways single beds, while QB stands for queen-size beds. Their kitchens also have refrigerators of different sizes.
