PRESENTATION OF IVECO DRIVING ASSISTANCE PACKAGE OPTIONS

The chic s-plus and liner-for-two series are built on the Iveco Daily base vehicle. The heavy-duty champion is particularly robust and resilient. With its high-traction rear-wheel drive and twin tyres, no route is too steep. It also boasts a powerful engine with a maximum displacement of 3.0 litres and an output of 207 hp.

The Iveco Daily comes with a number of assistance systems as standard. You also have the option of booking the Iveco Daily driver assistance package. We would like to briefly present the contents here.

Emergency Brake Assist with City Break (AEBS):

The Emergency Brake Assist detects potential collisions and initiates automatic braking manoeuvres. In the best case scenario, this prevents a collision or reduces its consequences. A collision is prevented at speeds below 50 km/h and the severity of a collision is significantly reduced at speeds above this. In heavy traffic, City Break helps to avoid collisions from 5 km/h.

Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with traffic jam function:

With adaptive cruise control, you set the desired speed, as well as the desired distance to the vehicle in front, and the intelligent system automatically adjusts the speed to maintain this distance. Of course, only within the permitted speed limits. With Traffic Jam Assist, the vehicle brakes automatically if the previous vehicle in the traffic jam also brakes. When the vehicle starts moving again, a light press on the accelerator pedal is all it takes for the Iveco Daily to move off again.

Automatic high beam activation:

With automatic high beam activation, the high beam is automatically dimmed up and down. A camera system monitors the traffic on the road and the high beam is activated when the road is clear. As soon as the headlights of an oncoming vehicle or the tail lights of vehicles in front are recognised, the assistant automatically dips the headlights.

Active Lane Keeping Assist with warning tone:

If the lane departure warning system notices that the vehicle is about to overshoot the side lane markings, the driver is warned by acoustic and visual signals and can take swift countermeasures.

Tyre pressure monitoring system:

Sensors inside the tyres monitor the air pressure and air temperature and report to the tyre pressure monitoring system if the air pressure drops. The display then shows whether and which tyre is affected.

Rain sensor with automatic low beam:

The rain sensor with automatic low beam combines two functions.  The rain sensor detects rain falling on the windscreen and automatically activates the windscreen wipers. Depending on the intensity of the rain, it adjusts the wiping frequency.

The automatic dipped headlights switch on when the light conditions require it, e.g. at dusk or in tunnels. A sensor continuously monitors the ambient brightness and ensures that the vehicle is always clearly visible and that the driver has optimum visibility.

The combination of these systems increases safety and comfort while driving.
