PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS CARTHAGO EASTER COMPETITION 2025

(referred to in the following as “the prize draw”)

1. GENERAL

By participating in the “Carthago Easter Competition 2025” prize draw, you accept the participation conditions. These explain how the system works, the time period and the exclusion criteria of the “Carthago Easter Competition 2025” prize draw.
These participation conditions may be modified at any time for important reasons by Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH without separate notification. The prize draw starts on 17.04.2025 and ends on 24.04.2025, at 00:00 hrs.

Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH is carrying out the Carthago Easter Competition 2025 prize draw (hereinafter referred to as “the prize draw”) in cooperation with various partners, taking the following participation conditions into consideration. The winners will be contacted promptly by e-mail after the end of the prize draw. The formalities for processing the win will be clarified individually with the winner. You can participate in the prize draw via the Carthago website. The prize draw can be found at https://www.carthago.com/en/our-easter-competition/.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION

Any natural person who lives in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, England, Norway, Sweden, Finland or Denmark and is 18 years or over may take part. Employees of the Carthago Group and its cooperative partners, and also their relatives, are excluded from the prize draw. Only one entry is allowed per person. If these participation conditions are violated, Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH reserves the right to exclude individuals from the prize draw. Persons who use unauthorised aids or give themselves an advantage via other means of manipulation are also excluded. In these cases, prizes can also be subsequently withdrawn and reclaimed if necessary.
The winners will be selected at random. The prize is not transferable. No cash payments shall be made. Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH may revoke the promise of the prize if the winner does not respond within two weeks of being notified of the prize. In this case, the original winner shall forfeit their claim to the prize, and Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH reserves the right to choose a new winner. The right to the prize shall also be forfeited if the prize is not sent to the winner within 6 months of the initial notification of the win for reasons for which the winner is responsible. Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH is entitled to provide a replacement prize of equal or greater value at its own discretion. For prizes that require the agreement of a date, the processing shall exclusively take place through direct contact between the winner and the respective cooperation partner. There is no entitlement to a specific date. The winner is solely responsible for any additional costs which may be incurred when accepting the prize. Travel or accommodation costs will not be covered by Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH. Competition clubs, automated entries using competition robots and deliberate false entries using so-called disposable email addresses are not permitted. Complaints about the running of the competition must be sent to Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH in writing, stating the competition, within 14 days of the reason becoming known. Telephone complaints or belated complaints will not be entertained.

3. GENERAL REGULATIONS

By taking part in the prize draw, the participants accept the following:

2. The decisions made by Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH, which are fully binding with regard to the competition.

Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH assumes no responsibility for

1. information that is lost, late, incorrectly delivered, damaged, obscured or illegible during the course of participation,
2. errors, omissions, interruptions, deletion, defects or delays during the transmission of data
3. Theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations to participant data
4. Technical, network-related, telephone equipment-related, electronic, computer, Internet, hardware and software problems of any kind,
5. Any injury or damage to the computer of a participant or any other person resulting from participation in the competition.

Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH reserves the right to exclude participants who violate these participation conditions from taking part.

4. PREMATURE TERMINATION OF THE PRIZE DRAW

Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without giving prior notice and without giving reasons. Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH shall particularly make use of this option if proper implementation of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g. malfunctions, disruptions, counterfeiting, viruses or similar damage) or for legal reasons. In these cases, no prize draw will take place. An appropriate message about the early termination of the competition will then be published on the Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH website. No claims may be derived from early termination.

5. DATA PROTECTION

The collection and processing of personal data shall takes place exclusively for the processing of the competition. By participating in the competition, the participant gives Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH consent to process the data provided for the purposes of determining the winner. The participant is free at any time to revoke their consent to storage and therefore withdraw from the competition by sending a revocation to marketing@carthago.com. Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH is entitled to transmit the winner's data to the cooperation partners in order to allow delivery and implementation of the prize to take place. The participants agree that their submitted photos or images may be published on Facebook in other media. 6. LIABILITY

Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH is released from all obligations after the prize has been handed over, unless an earlier point in time arises from these regulations. Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH is not liable for material and/or legal defects in the prizes donated by the cooperation partner. Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH is not liable for the insolvency of a partner or consequences from this regarding the implementation of the competition.    

7. MISCELLANEOUS

This agreement is subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. If individual provisions of the conditions of participation are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation remains unaffected. These will be replaced by an appropriate regulation which comes closest to corresponding to the purpose of the invalid provision. Legal recourse is excluded for the competition.
